» » » » » » » » The Bryn & Bill Football Show: 'Against Modern Football Special' by Real Football Radio(Podcast/radio)

Bryn and Bill have always stood out against modern football, advocating the virtues of grass roots and community based football. In this special edition of the show, we celebrate FC United of Manchester, royalty in non-league football. Mole, the Wivenhoe Town super fan, tells us why he loves the Dragons. We commemorate the late Prince Buster as an inspiration to 1970's terrace culture. We enjoy Charlie Williams, the Black comic and Doncaster Rovers player. Chloe tells the story of how Black players stood up to the racist bigots in the 1970's and she finds out why Ian Wright is more Malcolm X that Luther King. Bill goes local and gets sentimental, remembering our lovely Layer Road. Author Anthony Clavane tells us why he is also against modern football. Iain makes a plea for football to be firmly rooted in the community. Steve from Blackpool tells us why it has to be Oyston Out. And on the 20th April we will be back with more North Essex footballing delights.
